ishop & mail will import into Mexico all items arriving at your Laredo ibox, as long as legal requirements of said items are met. ishop & mail / ibox does not share your information with anyone. We strongly advice you to be cautious about whom you release your mailing/shipping information to, in order to avoid receiving “junk” mail and unsolicited packages. Customers are ultimately responsible for paying any charges and Duties incurred in by packages received at their Laredo ibox and then imported into Mexico. In those instances where a customer refuses to cover the above fees, the subject item(s) shall become the sole property of ishop & mail.
In such cases where a package is received at the customers Laredo ibox address and, due to legal limitations, it is not allowed to be imported into Mexico, all costs of returning said package to sender, or to forward the package somewhere else, are also the customers responsibility.
ishop & mail pays all duties and taxes upon the packages entry into Mexico. As ishop & mail finances said duties, as well as shipping and handling fees until packages are retrieved, it is highly appreciated if customers pick up their package within a week of arrival to their Ajijic ibox (notifications are made via e-mail or by phone), in order to be able to continue offering this free financing service to all our clients.
Items considered as “correspondence” are not subject to pay Duties or Taxes, but anything considered to be a “package” is.
